Mr Oreste Accornero Senior founded in Turin (Italy) the “Comm. Oreste Accornero & F.lio” – a sheet metal manufacturing company for automotive parts. His company shortly became a reference supplier for steel fuel tanks, dashboards and doors for most of Italian truck and tractors makers at that time.

The Company expanded its activities and steped into new sectors, such as railway, aviation and agricultural machines.

New plastic rotomolding unit

New plastic rotomolding unit

Rototech was founded as a business unit dedicated to plastic rotational molding.

Rotofrance was born in Caen (Normandy – France). It was the first production unit located abroad.

Rototech moved to a new and bigger plant of more than 9000 m² located in San Gillio (Turin).

Rototech’s strategy is to be close to its Customers with local presence and production operations, in order to minimize logistic costs and for better understanding of specific country needs.
At the same time, it is a Group’s priority to have a standard and to give a common footprint through the Rototech Production System in all production sites around the globe.

The Group has developed a specific business model for “fast and easy” production sites localization. This has already proved effectiveness in its French, Russian and Chinese business units, and the Group’s target is to extend its application to other locations, providing local support to its Customers though implementation of the Rototech Production System footprint.
